Is the Creality Hyper ABS Filament 1.75mm worth it for functional mechanical prototypes?

I need to print functional brackets and motor mounts for an engineering project this year in 2026. Standard PLA tends to deform under heat and crack under sudden torque. Would this dual pack handle continuous mechanical stress well?

Yes, absolutely. For functional and load-bearing prototypes, this material provides significant advantages over standard alternatives. Thanks to its impact strength of 19 kJ/m², which nearly doubles standard PLA, models produced with Creality Hyper ABS Filamento 1.75mm 2KG withstand mechanical stress and higher ambient temperatures far better. Furthermore, its engineered fluidity lets you print at up to 350 mm/s on modern high-speed machines like the K1 series without under-extrusion, giving you durable parts in a fraction of standard print times.

The layer bonding at high speeds on my K1 Max is rock solid. Just make sure your bed temperature is properly dialed in.
