Answered on: 2026-08-20Yes, it delivers top-tier performance in a travel-ready form factor. The cable incorporates full 240W Power Delivery and a 40Gbps transmission rate, making it more than capable of sustaining peak transfer speeds on external portable SSD drives while feeding heavy power loads into high-end notebooks. Choosing Short Keychain Cable PD 240W 40Gbps 8K provides you with a versatile hardware bridge on your keyring, effectively replacing multiple bulky cords with a single compact accessory that excels at both rapid charging and video display.

I carry mine on my key holder daily. Moving large video projects to my external solid state drive works flawlessly at top speed.
